I don’t wish Holbroke any ill-will and genuinely hope he recovers. However, from everything I’ve read about him he’s one of the most arrogant and egotistical men alive. This is not a propos to your post but I’ll add it anyway. The present MSM coverage of the late wife of John Edwards is equating her with the Virgin Mary. Many objective sources who knew her intimately document that she was a real and nasty pushy bitch. Of course, people commonly believe it’s not appropriate to speak ill of the dead. Still, I think it’s healthy to interject some truth and reality into this maudlin schlock eulogy crap. But now that she’s gone - RIP and she’ll face a reality that knows no BS and spin!
