So what new information did it give Americans?

Why does it have to give "new information"? Who said it had to do that? Maybe people just ENJOY IT! Does EVERYTHING have to be a political calculation with you hack political consultants? Geez, lighten up.

Palin will never be president

She will if she wants to be and there's nothing you little ankle biters can do about it.

I can give you 8 million reasons. :-)

PLUS the bonus is that millions of liberals are tuning in to laugh at “Caribou Barbie” and are discovering the intelligent, witty, classy, patriotic, etc. etc. etc. woman that Sarah Palin REALLY is, instead of that caricature that the MSM forcefed people since 2008. And they are discovering they LIKE what they see.

If Obama keeps letting his base down (and you know it’s bad when Olbermann disses HolyO!) then 2012 is going to be VERY interesting!

These shows are nothing but a win for Sarah.

You won't get much of an argument here. On the other hand, that might not be a good thing, because if it turns out differently, there will be a lot of shocked people wondering why nobody knew...

Well, I like her even more after watching the shows and I definitely learned something about Alaska and the lifestyles of the people and about the character of Sarah.

I don’t understand why she did the show. Yes, it gives her publicity and lots of cash.

I think you just hit on the two reasons why she did it.

Don’t buy it. Whatever she does they will still call her an empty headed lightweight, so she might as well do what she thinks best.

Who is the better pissant? Earljam or pissant.

Right now, I’m thinking pissant ... he’s more substantive and marginally less nasty.

Altho his use of cultists is wearing thin. I’ve spoken to him about it but he won’t listen.

earlJam makes $$$$$ at FR attacking Gov. Palin.

Paid skunk by Barbour and Romney.

mbraynard's company has a history of GOP targeting.

"Expert Voter Targeting
Matt Braynard spent three election cycles working for the Republican National Committee developing their voter vault project. He understands both how to build your universe of voters and how to best reach them.
First, our firm develops your initial universe of voters whom we anticipate will turnout for election. This universe includes phone numbers, addresses, precinct assignment, and the voting history of each individual voter, along with a wealth of information on political preferences and demographics.
Then we segment the universe using indicators including issue preferences (Pro-life, gun rights, etc.), geography, age, marital status, income, and numerous other attributes.
After analyzing the voters, we are able to start providing data to mail and phone vendors, and maps, walk-lists and call sheets to volunteers. We then take the data we get back from these contact efforts and use it to enhance our voter database.
For example, volunteers using walk lists and maps go door to door to canvass. Households who indicate they are supportive of our candidate will be captured from the barcodes on the list. Those supporters are then included among those the volunteers call in the final 48 hours to encourage turnout.
Our firm has a long record of accomplishment, most recently on behalf of the Alabama Farmer's Federation. In the 2006 cycle, we developed and coordinated targeting universes for over sixty of their targeted legislative races and won all but ten. "

These shows are nothing but a win for Sarah.

When I first heard she was going to do a reality show, I thought that was the end of Sarah Palin.

But, I don't understand the popularity of reality shows. I also didn't appreciate how popular Facebook and Twitter would be, either.

Sarah Palin, on the other hand, apparently does understand. She's used both to her advantage. So, I'm going to trust her instincts about her Alaska reality program and watch to see the results.

So far, the results for her brand of out of the GOP box thinking have been impressive.
