WASHINGTON The House voted Wednesday to repeal the "don't ask, don't tell policy that for 17 years has forced gays desiring to serve in the military to conceal their sexual identity. The 250-175 vote propels the issue to the Senate for what could be the last chance for now to end the 1993 law that forbids recruiters from asking about sexual orientation while prohibiting soldiers from acknowledging that they are gay. It's "the only law in the country that requires people to be dishonest or be

I saw on Special Report that there are 5 GOP Senators who are supporting it and the only hope for killing it is to ‘run out the clock. It’s time for some bare knuckle action! Who in the GOP has the cajones to stand up for the future of our military?
When I was in boot camp many years ago, I remember my training instructor calling us a bunch of candy ass faggots.
That will now be a lawsuit.
Oh fudge!
Except for those that would like to be called that. :(
If “DON’T ASK, DON’T TELL” is “repealed” wouldn’t the previous regulations that gays can’t serve apply?
No, it will now be true. Well, the faggot part anyway. Can’t say they’re all candy ass.
homosexual conduct is incompatible with military life,
that no homosexuals will be allowed in the service,
that recruiters are required to obtain a statement from all potential draftees, recruits, re-enlistee and and officer appointments as to their sexual orientation,
that all are required to acknowledge that homosexual behavior is not acceptable to the military and is punishable by a less than honorable discharge
And that in accordance with Article III section 2, no authority or jurisdiction is given to any tribunal to rule contrary to this law

Taxcontrol said it better than I could.
Question: If the freaking Senate passes this, what is the next step to stop this abomination? Can the next Congress undo it? I'm sickened.
Can anyone remember the last time that any god d*mned dim did anything good for America?
How appropriate that they let their own sexual deviant have the honor of reading they yays and nays. This is the end of the U.S. military. Once the fags start their lawsuits, the defense budget goes in the toilet. Just another one of Barry’s redistribution of wealth things. I hope Gates and his band of Pentagon homos all burn in hell for what they are doing to the military. They will!
Really what we see here is "House Votes to promote, allow, endorse, and protect homosexual sex practice in the Military..."
I would say that any "legislation" that can be done can be undone. How much damage will be done until this if done is undone (probably most likely only after 0zero is out of office), that is the question...
“Once the fags start their lawsuits, the defense budget goes in the toilet.”
Unlike Russia who is spending 650 BILLION to upgrade their military.
You are correct, “This is the end of the U.S. military.”
We’re screwed.
“If DONT ASK, DONT TELL is repealed wouldnt the previous regulations that gays cant serve apply?”
You’re right. When is this supposed to start?
Once DADT is repealed, the next step is full benefits for domestic partners.
Look at all we are suffering because this country’s leaders hate God.
We don’t need to heap extra trouble on. We can’t turn away from Him and what He considers good fast enough.
Well, these people are going to get what they deserve. It’s all going to fall down around them and the people are going to take revenge on them.
They’ll ask the nice sergeant if he wants some candy (ass).
Yeah a bunch of them lost their re-election bids this past November.
Oh, you meant ‘deliberately did something good for America.’ ....:)
