Heed the words of Ronald Reagan:
"Raise a banner of bold colors, not pale pastels. Do not compromise our principles in the mistaken belief that we will be rewarded at the ballot box. On the contrary, that would put the Republican Party on the road to oblivion.”

Once again, Ronaldus Magnus has perfectly stated the thoughts in my mind that have yet to join themselves into coherent words of my own.

Reagan's words flow in perfect parallel to Jim Rob's statement at the top of this thread. What both of these men are saying, is that we conservatives MUST stand firmly in our principles, not only in the privacy of our own minds, but in the arena of public discourse.

We must have the courage to BOLDLY declare who we are, and exactly what we stand for - with NO equivocation - to friend and foe, alike.

Just as I would not put up with anti-constitutional liberal-speak in my own house, Jim Rob has stood up in his own (very public) house, and said the same to all in attendance. I believe that Ronaldus Magnus felt exactly the same way, and that today, he'd be a Tea Party patriot of the First Order.

Thanks for posting the quote, Red. I needed that.
