According to the Governor of Hawaii, Obama’s long form, vault copy birth certificate says that he was born at Kapi’olani Hospital in Honolulu and according to Kapi’olani Medical Center in their Centennial Magazine, they are proud to have the 44th President of the United States, Barack Obama as one of their deliveries.

In fairness, you should disclose that no one at that hospital can recall Obama's supposed birth there. And, you should disclose that Obama can't remember it, either.

Thus, the documents are needed.

I doubt that there are many people who were working there 49 years ago to remember any particular baby’s birth.
Documents are not needed because there is no constitutional requirement that a president of the United States be born in a hospital, otherwise George Washington would have been ineligible.
If Obama was born on a beach in Hawaii and delivered by a mid-wife, he’d still be born in the USA.
His birth documents, corroborated by the Registrar of Vital Statistics of the state of Hawai’i, the Governor of Hawai’i and the Director of Health of Hawai’i say that he was born in that state at 7:24 p.m. on August 4, 1961.
Obama is the ONLY president for whom I know the exact time of his birth.
The ONLY Consititutional requirements for a president are: Born in the United States, 35 years of age and 14 years residency in the United States.
