Let me put it to you a different way. If you were president, would you personally do whatever was required to prove the legality of the Iraq wars to an officer who questioned it and who refused orders to go to that war as a result? Or would you let Army discipline take its course and allow them to be court martialed and imprisoned?
If Obama had any character at all then this wouldn't be an issue; he would have laid the questions about his birthplace to rest long ago. But he hasn't, for reasons of his own which escape my understanding.
