Muslim Immigrants Get Santa Cancelled in Minnesota

(CathNews) Santa will not be visiting students in St. Peter, Minnesota this year. Muslim immigrants got him cancelled. The MinnPost reported, via Pat Dollard:

Santa Claus, as portrayed by Dennis Jackson, won’t be visiting students at the Head Start classes in St. Peter this year.

Jackson has made appearances the past four years at the classes for students who need help preparing for school, but this year officials said, “No, no, no.”

The reason: The classes have many immigrant children who don’t celebrate Christmas, says the Mankato Free Press.

Santa’s a little frosted, the paper says.

It kind of burnt me up,” he said.

The official explanation from Chris Marben, who coordinates regional Head Start programs through Mankato-based Minnesota Valley Action Council: “We have Somali families in the program. We’re respecting the wishes of families in the program.”

She didn’t say how many objections were made, but said more than one would be enough to cancel Santa…

Jackson said he’s played Santa with children from other cultures before and they were fully comfortable with him. He said it’s their parents who are being unreasonable.

“They’re not respecting the majority,” he said. “My feeling is (objecting parents) can take their kids out of class for half an hour and let the other kids enjoy it. They should sacrifice, not rule.”

It bears repeating: No such strategy can be put into place let alone be successfully executed, as long as our national leadership refuses to define the enemy in realistic and comprehensive terms.

If such ignorance is allowed to persist, the Muslim Brotherhood will continue infiltrating American society at every level and executing a very deliberate plan to manipulate the nation into piecemeal submission to shariah.

Send them back to their beloved somalia where they can stick their stinking butts up in the air
while they pray to their child raping mohamadman garbage. Enough of this destruction of America by bringing
this trash here to live.

This just burns me up. When my kids were in elementary, we didn’t celebrate the Santa part of Christmas. I just sent a note to the teachers and requested an alternate activity for that time period. They were happy to oblige, and everybody was happy.

We did the same thing with Halloween. I wouldn’t dream of taking a beloved tradition away from someone else’s kid just because I didn’t celebrate it.

They feel that they are obligated to provide the children with a moral compass. Their moral compass. Instead of giving the kid’s a leg up by teaching the children to read and write, prior to entering academia, they chose to indoctrinate instead. If Conservatives were to volunteer, and teach/mentor these children, we would have a better program, and healthier children.

Liberals pretend that their worldview is not religious in nature. Yet it is. They call atheism "secular humanism" and see every man as his own god. They determine what is moral (homosexuality) and immoral (wasting natural resources) based on a comprehensive worldview.

They do more than just "indoctrinate", they proselytize. Which is prohibited by the Constitution. While the schools may not instruct the students in what "is sin", the schools are CONSTITUTIONALLY PROHIBITED from informing the students of what is DEFINITELY NOT sinful (like declaring homosexuality to be perfectly ok). Otherwise there would be a "must eat bacon day" because the Jews and muslims can't hold their "closed minded" attitudes in a public school. Right?

He is based on Saint Nicholaus (literally “Saint Claus “) of Turkey, who was famous for giving gifts around christmastime. He was watered down into a secular figure to make him more palatable for non xtians.

It would be interesting to know what he might think... since his relics were snatched during the muslim raid on Turkey later (during Byzantium).

Misplaced glasses are one of the banes of my existence. I’ll admit to looking frantically for them only to discover they are hooked on the collar of my shirt. The children are looking into a safe home for me.

I think that is a great way to present him to children.

Sinterklaas was celebrated by the Dutch and such and was “Christianized” by calling him Saint Nicholas because the celebration fell near the same day (6th December).

The entire “Yule” celebration would be immediately recognizable to the modern eye as “Christmas”, in pre-Christian Europe.

My point is that Santa Clause has, at best, a tenuous link to Christianity, if it is not, in fact, a rationalization after the fact (What pagan Sinterklaas? He was a Christian saint, in.... Turkey.... yeah that is the ticket!).

So you cant celebrate Christmas in a town named for one of Christ’s disciples?

Oh, give them time.. the muslims will fix that little "problem" too. The new name of "al-Islamiyat" comes to mind. I wonder if a town in MN or MI will be the first to change to a muslim name..

Strange... since they ‘claim’ to respect him as a great prophet.

I guess that’s why they’re planning more bombings than usual this year.

What exactly are Somalis good for? Personally, I can’t name a thing. Walking trash, IMO.

Muslims come to this country with every intention to someday rule.. and they're well on their way. Sacrifice is for the lowly dhimmi class.

In Europe, pre-Christianity, they had a winter festival called “Yule” and other things that was basically exactly the same thing as Christmas.

Early Christians co-opted this celebration because of its popularity with the people, and it was a good thing on the whole (in my opinion) because it helped to spread Christianity.

But people get (rightly) confused when people start talking about the birth of Christ, and someone else starts talking flying reindeer, talking snowmen, a fat jolly old elf in a red suit delivering toys.

Some people cannot seem to separate the secular/pagan aspects of “Yule” with the birth of our Lord Christ.

My point is that Muslims have nothing to fear from “Santa Claus” or a tree as neither is a Christian symbol, but instead a pagan/secular symbol of Yule. A manger and creche and the star are actual Christian symbols of Christmas.

I am not taking the stand that you should or should not celebrate the “Santa” part of Christmas. I do, and I enjoy doing it! But let us not get it confused with actual Christianity (or let the Muslims/libtards get confused).
