hard2believe: "Those are all good points, I agree with. But don’t you think we need first to do something about our international standing in the world before we are crushed?"

Great point. Good post. Welcome.
What exactly do you think we should do? What?
Can you name one thing?

And, crushed how?

Well I believe the first thing is obvious - work - actually labor - to make sure Obama doesn’t get re-elected. We need to shore up our previous friends. We can pull them back because they need us as much as we need them. We need to re-establish our strength in world leadership. We need show we know what we are doing as far as our financial house is concerned to show strength as well. Crushed? I believe we are going to be crushed by China and eventually India (financially at least) if we don’t become a productive nation again. It should be criminal to farm out our jobs. Americans think they are getting a bargain shopping at Wal-Mart. Oh really? HoW about first point being, you’re probably being monitored much more than you think now with their new “don’t forget we’re watching” large screen with Napalitano. When we have farmed mfg all most of our goods out to China is it really a bargain when Americans can’t find jobs? When we have to worry about what they are putting in our medicines? When we don’t know how much lead they are putting in dishes and glassware from China? When the quality of their meat looks one grade above horse meat? When you take this cycle 360, we’ve actually lost! Just the one point - mfg our medicines - just one tiny ingredient could take our entire society down. Sounds paranoid, but I really don’t care. We need to start realizing how at risk our society is due to big government rules.
