Nelson told community activist Quanell X that police need to take a closer look at Jonathan's stepfather.
"She said she's not a child killer and she would never do this," community activist Quanell X said.
Quanell X said that Nelson told him she feels wrongly accused and that Davis had a hand in the boy's death.

"She said the stepfather, David, paid her $20 to dispose of a container, and in that container she later learned it was the child's body," said Quanell X.
Davis said Friday that Nelson's claim is false.
"Whatever, man," Davis said. "I would never hurt that boy. That was my son."
On Thursday, Davis said he barely knew Nelson.
"I don't know her. I saw her before, though. She looks like a dude," he said.
Investigators said they believe that Nelson acted alone.
This is my greatest concern about the decadence that has overwhelmed the United States. Most people cannot imagine the horrors that will follow if the U.S.A. should fall.
There is no limit to the depth of human depravity, as this horrifying tragedy demonstrates. Never forget this.
But never forget this either: There is no limit to the heights of human goodness and heroism. To what extents would you have gone to save this child from what happened if you could have? This is my point.
There are more of us than there are of them, but most people cannot imagine or even believe the horrors the world can deliver.
If America continues in its decline, the horrors that will occur are unspeakable.
Be afraid, but be corageous, and take meaningful action. Truth is our greatest ally. We must defeat the forces of evil and decadence. We must bring America into a renaissance of ascendancy.
The American people can do it. The question is this: Will they?
In the old days she would accidentally fall down a flight of stairs in the Police station, I’m just sayin.
If ever there was a crime so deserving of capital punishment. At least in Texas if convicted she will likely get the death penalty. Sadly it will take potentially 20 years of appeals before there will be justice.
