Criss, a Democrat who has presided over the 212th district court since 1999, is popular in the County. Her father Lloyd Criss, is Chairman of the county Democratic party, and past State Representative. Criss ran unopposed for her position; thus she did not get swept out of office by the large Republican swell.
Hard to get voted out when you are unopposed.
Not a few Republican attorneys in the county wish they had run against her this year. They would be called Judge now.
