The Democrat set to face off against Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) on the House Oversight panel suggested brokering an agreement between Issa and the Obama administration on the public release of sensitive information to congressional investigators. There is already an agreement, it's called a subpoena.

Now a Democrat cares about “national security”?
LMAO!!

Secrets, laws of all sorts, senate & house rules, the Democrats have gotten quite used to the double standards haven’t they.

I hope Issa and the House have that power. Sad that the whole country and SCOTUS are totally corrupt and the citizenry has “no standing.”

All of a sudden the Dems are worried about the good of the country. There’s a refreshing change.

Cummings is not a dim bulb. You are giving that buffoon too much credit. He is a lights out dude from head to toe!!! Issa, do not give Obama an inch!!! He does not deserve it!!! And.....Cummings is a blatant and obvious fool for following Obama anywhere!!!
To: Nachum
Cummings (D-Md) said it might be possible to negotiate a compromise that would avoid exposing national security secrets or other privileged information. And of course actual audits of Fannie and Freddie would constitute "privileged" "national security" information that couldn't possibly be released to the public.

Screw that! Open books above board. Screw the congressional minority. They did it to us. Wouldn’t even let us see a law before they passed it. Screw them and don’t share power one iota!!!!!!

watch the scumbag dhims throw sand in the gears. Objection after objection with lots of obfustication thrown in for good measure. Ill bet it will take a week to name and swear in the first witness Back in the 90's Dems were out of power in congress, but almost completely rolled over Republicans in hearings about so many alleged illegalities. Republicans didn't insist that people appear before congress to publicly invoke their fifth amendment rights. They stupidly accepted a letter from their lawyers. One former (NY Prosecutor?) said that he had never seen so many people flee the country or invoke the fifth since the mafia hearings. Just think of the campaign ad that could have been made with one person after the other publicly invoking the fifth. I have very little hope that Republicans will be any smarter now. I will continue to pray for our country.
