Nope. He was a 22 year old mental case living at home. His parents had formal knowledge of his problems. They supported him, they raised him and they failed him. As did the moronic Pima County Sheriff who knew he was a danger to himself and others and did nothing.
“Government employees raising an only child to be gay. Very sad.”
Where did you come up with that one?
I am also tired of crazy people getting a pass from the courts when they are convicted of wrongdoing.
All the time I read about crazy people who deliberately stop taking their meds because they do not like the side effects, or feel better. They then go really crazy, and commit a crime.
I think that if you are diagnosed as a schizophrenic, and decide to stop taking your medication, and commit a horrific crime- then that is premeditated. You are then subject to the death penalty.
No different than an alcoholic who decides to drink, and kills someone while driving drunk.
BTW, regarding the Sheriff’s thoughts regarding an accomplice, according to Aaron Klein (”Aaron Klein Investigative Radio” on WABC), the investigators identified the person of interest, and ruled out any connection. So it looks like Jared the Disturbed did work alone on his kill spree.
So much for Sheriff Dupa’s elegibility for induction into the Vidoc Society.
