I recall during one of the episode of BOB, he said, if he got out of the war alive he promised God that he would settle down on a farm and live the rest of his life in peace.

He kept his word.

And now, the Lord is showing him TRUE peace and reuniting him with the heros that he served with. They are young, unwounded, full of spirit, and laughing it up as we speak.

I remember that quote but you know what tells me he was a man among men? He was often asked if he thought HE was a "hero." His stock reply? "No, but I once served with a company of heroes." He will be missed. R.I.P., Sir.
