Rush is NOT offering any “defense” he is vigorously and rightfully denouncing the left for their vileness. Been listening to the show from the beginning.
You are correct. He is explaining how the left could care less. It’s a “teachable” moment for them.
Right! Nothing to defend. No need to defend. The “optics” of looking like you are defending yourself, gives the impression that there is some truth to the charge.
The right must stop the bad habit of “defending” themselves. State the case why we are right (take that as you will) and move on. The open-minded will listen and consider. The close-minded will never listen—therefore never be persuaded.
