Insanity on the Left: Blaming Palin and the Tea Party for the Arizona Shooting

On Saturday, about the time of the shooting in Arizona, I was on my way to see a movie with my wife. When we returned, my wife opened up her laptop and said: “Oh, God.” She then read to me the tragic news the world had then learned.

I at first felt shock and great sadness — and I still do. But I could still not stop this next thought from entering my head: “No matter the truth, the MSM and the left are to pin this on the Tea Party.” And I hated myself for that thought even entering my mind so soon.

Yet, I knew that the nature of the MSM and the left was to do this. The only question was whether I would feel more shame for even thinking this, or the left and the MSM would feel such shame about exploiting this tragedy for political gain that they’d think again and hold back. It is a disgusting thing that the left and MSM won this contest in my mind.

I have to say, O’Reilly did a pretty thorough job of this issue tonight. He was visibly pissed at the insanity of the media and how disgracefully they have handled the reportage, as well as the “left-wing loons”. And example being the “Palin bullseye map”, and how he pulled up the Democrat map that was virtually identical. Or the video he played showing Joe Manchin of WV firing a real gun at “Obamacare” and proving Paul Krugman (who BOR truly despises) to be a flat-out liar. Bernie Goldberg was equally on-target, all in all it was a good handling of the topic and will have some impact on the non-conservatives who watch his show and might otherwise think some of this crap had credibility.

Another thing to think about: Sarah Palin is in even greater danger of physical harm today thank to the left's actual demonization and dangerous speech (and she already was, before this).

It was really something to behold. Something you never quite thought you’d really manage to witness. But it happened. Over two days time, the media truly went stark-raving-mad. No other way to describe it. Other than maybe as an animalistic blood-frenzy... entirely directed at a little housewife up in Wasilla.

We’re entering a dangerous, unhinged era.

While O’Reily may have done a good job today Fox News did a terrible job overall. All day Sunday they were running with the “law enforcement memo based on DHS information” that was full of huge errors. Among other howlers it claimed that Gifford was the highest ranking Jewish woman in America (sure to be news to Boxer and Feinstein). It made slanderous claims about American Renaisance web-zine and it’s founder.

All of this was perfectly timed and delivered to send the message that the kook was a far-right, anti-semitic neo-Nazi. Of course, as we all know he is a leftist. (And, reportedly 1/2 Jewish himself, so an unlikely candidate to be a neo-Nazi, though I guess if you are crazy as a loon anything is possible.)

The fake memo was championed by Greta, who has yet to retract it, though now Fox seems to be editing the memo to fix some of the blatent errors.

All in all a shockingly bad job of reporting on their part, that conveniently supported the main story line being peddled by the lefties.

We *still* need a real conservative network in the USA, one that finds people with a lot more brains than Hannity, Greta and Glenn Beck to report the news in a *truly* fair and balanced manner.

At this point an explanation, retraction and apology would be most appreciated, but it seems that Fox is in coverup mode. I’ve lost a lot of respect for them on this, particularly since it was the “hard news” part of the operation that did the bogus reporting, and it was picked up and amplified on Fox News Sunday, which used to be the flagship show on the network.

Some flagship. More like false-flag.

I agree. Sarah needs to increase her security level and hold all her public appearances in places with controlled access and some kind of metal detectors in place to detect large pieces of metal (not house keys and coins.) There is this small group of young people in America who were effectively raised by their TV sets and are way too tolerant of violence wile lacking any mental concept of morality as a restraining force on their behavior. We’ve already seen some of this threat in the young people who have stalked and harassed Sarah Palin. She needs to boost security in a reasonable way without making everyone remove the keys and coins from their pockets before entering a Palin speech. There must be some way to do that with all the technology we have today. Some high-tech security consultants should be able to help her improve security greatly in a practical and reasonable way.

A day after the brutal Tucson murders of Federal Judge John Roll and five others, an attack that also left Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords and a dozen others severely wounded, the leftwing media and political elites are making a sickening spectacle of themselves as they finger-point and try to shift and affix blame. My suggestion is that they stand in front of a mirror when they’re doing it.

But before I spell out why, let me say that the primary blame in this case lies with the godless young man who pulled the trigger. He made the conscious, callous, brutal choice to become a mass murderer.

However, even before we really look much at the various scraps of personal information about the shooter that are already coming in, we can know beyond a shadow of a doubt what sort of socio-political phenomenon he reflects.

First, this is an individual who doesn’t fear God.

Second, this is a person who has no regard for the innocent lives of his fellow human beings, each and every one of whom were created in God’s image.

Those two things are one hundred percent certain.

Let me ask you, what modern American ideology does such a viewpoint mirror?

To whatever extent this mass murderer’s ideology is represented by his actions, it is the ideology of the American Left.

For decades, the Left has gone to any length to try and drive God out of our national life. Everyone knows it. This is not even debatable. And young people such as Jared Lee Loughner, like the Columbine High School killers before him, are not only the main targets of that worldview, they are commonly the most susceptible.

For decades, the Left has politically empowered the daily slaughter of thousands of defenseless babes in the womb via abortion. And they have done so with an uncompromising fervor. It’s like a religion to them. Because of that ghoulish, selfish, purposeful obsession, our national hands are drenched in the blood of more than fifty million innocent little boys and girls, and countless individual consciences have been seared into apathy towards acts of unspeakable violence.

Liberals can’t face themselves concerning any of this. They won’t admit the truth about what the poison fruit of their unjust ideology is. That’s why they are simply incapable of doing anything except what they’re doing: pointing fingers at others, primarily on the Right.

But what do I see the political Right doing today, as the Left tries to pin their own ideological sins on others?

Praying for the victims and their families.

Decrying the violence.

Crying out for justice.

Look in the mirror, America. And if you don’t like what you see? Get right with the One Who made you. Recognize the incalculable eternal value of every single one of your fellow human beings, no matter how developed, or “wanted,” or whether they agree with you politically or not. Work to reestablish an American culture that acknowledges God and which passes our priceless heritage of justice based on the protection of unalienable God-given rights on to the young - instead of brainwashing them with godless liberal ideology, or killing them before they can even be born.

Return to the timeless principles Frederick Douglass long ago called "the ringbolt of our nation’s destiny":
“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. That to secure these rights, governments are instituted among men…”
One last note to those on the Right:

My advice would be to not get too worked up concerning the current flood of libelous nonsense from the Left. Remember what it says in the Book of Proverbs:
“As the bird by wandering, as the swallow by flying, so the curse causeless shall not come.” – Proverbs 26:2
If you’re not pushing a merciless, godless, violent, death-loving ideology (like they are) you have nothing to worry about. Their unjust accusations won’t stick. Just keep doing the right thing. Keep praying. Keep defending life. Keep working to push back the godless, lawless, destructive delusions espoused by the Left, and God will work it all out.
