He gave the killer a pass because his parents were fellow Democrats active in local government.

This typical democrat/marxist hack has to be fired.

He like democrats in Congress and the media want to take away our rights to freedom of speech and to bear arms.Without freedom of speech there is no freedom and what is left is a socialist dictatorship as in North Korea.

What and When are good. here is another.

Pima County Sheriff Clarence
Dupnik had “skin in the game” BEFORE the murders
by covering up scores of complaints
against the perp — for some reason ( <=== answer here).

If Dupnik hadn’t dropped the felony charges, Loughner would NOT have been able to buy his weapon, right?

The Laaughner family may have been given a “pass” by LE because a close relative was a player in local politics.

Other reports say Jared Laughner had made numerous recent death threats against local LE officers. This is a felony. Dupnik did nothing.

If this is true, Dupnik should be fired.

The Laughner’s had local govt “connections,” apparently. THis is the investigative angle.

So Dupnik could have prevented Loughner from buying his weapon and didn’t?

“What did Sheriff Dupnik know about Loughner before the shooting? And when did he know it?”

I was wondering the same. He KNEW that he had a full-fledged PSYCHO in his county - I mean a psycho who would be considered nuts at a convention of psychos - this guy was gone.

Yet he didn’t lift a finger to protect her. It’s almost as if he wanted this shooting - simply to give him a stage to stand up and scream his politics.

Dupnik is acting very suspiciously.

Is he just covering up for himself?

Or is he covering up for others?

Or both?

But the media will bury this. Justice isn’t important. Character assassination and killing the 1st and 2nd amendment are, according to them and Sheriff Dip****.

No, and stopping him from getting a legal weapon would not have stopped this madman from driving an SUV into the Congresswoman’s meeting at 100mph.

But Dupnik could have demanded involuntary legal/psychiatric evaluations of Jared L. after he made ANY death threats. Then Jared could have been kept in a locked ward as a danger to others. In FL this law is called the Baker Act. It’s used to pull raving, threatening lunatics off the street before something predictable like this happens.

Jared had been stalking Giffords since at least 2007, shades of “Taxi Driver” and John Hinkly/Jodie Foster. And he had been making many other overt death threats (felonies!) that were ignored by Dupnik’s dept.

This story will get out. Every angle will be investigated in time, and this could be a “smoking gun” of Dupnik’s deadly dereliction of duty.

You would think that as a Sheriff, Dupnik would have wanted Loughner to be prosecuted for the felony death threats to his officers.
