“How do you keep the politicians from moving too close?”

We could mount an aircraft warning strobe on their highest elevation, like on a hat, and then it would be up to the rest of us to keep the distance.

If they are around a corner, or otherwise out of line of sight, it would not be a penalty to be within the zone. If that is not acceptable we’ll need a siren or horn or some sort of annunciator, plus a runner to go ahead of them to warn us that one is coming.

Now, do we increase the radius if there are several politicians together? Like 2000 feet for two politicians, and 434,000 feet (82 miles) if the full house is in session?

Perhaps all elected officials should be forced to wear one of these to warn of their presence...

(I would suggest a leper's bell, but that might be a bit over-the-top.)
