It’s going to be really tough for him to resist. You know he’s dying to score political points off of this. The thing is, most people recognize this for what it is: an unavoidable tragedy. If Obama lectures the Right about our political speech, he’ll probably lose points, not gain points.

I think you're right. Part of me wants him to do it to show the country how cold and classless he is, but a larger part of me wants him NOT to do it because of the families of those killed and injured. Their pain should not be hijacked by a political opportunist.

People may actually begin to recognize that it was an avoidable tragedy if only the sheriff had done his job when they first investigated the boy for strange behavior. Instead, the liberal sheriff chose to protect a fellow state worker's family.
