Fair, usually family pets will not run with wild dogs because they usually end up on the wrong end of a fight, injured or dead. Packs don’t like outsiders until they prove themselves.
Wild dogs are a different matter,they try to run with coyotes.ONe could never mistake the for a domestic dog. All of them also get shot if the opportunity presents itself. Everybody shoots them as coyotes when the season allows it.They call them coy-dogs up here.They look a lot like coyotes.
