Interesting-- the way the Sheriff went off about bigots against immigration...the several drugs his daughter had, counterfeit money, motel room, car theft...I wondered if his daughter was somehow connected to some border smuggling or a spouse involved in such???

I see his daughter was assigned at one point to work in the prison kitchen. They asked her “can you cook?”. They were talking about beef stew. She probably thought they were talking about meth.
