I know what his claims were, I just don't believe them. I've encountered bigots of many types in my life and have been on the receiving end of threats, intimidations and racist comments. I can say almost without exception each and every time the one displaying the hate was a liberal. They just can't stand the thought of a black man thinking for himself and deciding he wants no part of the plantation that is the democratic party.

[The guy must be some liberal plant.]
The fact that Miller said, “I wasn’t going to resign but decided to quit after what happened Saturday,” indicates Miller supports the absurd charge that conservatives created a “climate of hate” motivating the killer. Miller timed his resignation with the shooting to gain maximum publicity and damage to the Republicans.

“Miller timed his resignation with the shooting to gain maximum publicity and damage to the Republicans.”
Is that a fact or just conjecture. He claims to “love” the Republican Party. But we know his actions and his claim of love for the party are incongruous.

I've heard those on the left express that narcissistic sentiment but that's not typical of those on the right. Is this guy a double agent? You could say that. He worked for McCain. Let's face it. McCain is more left wing than right. Maybe McCain is a double agent (i.e., RINO)

AND his favorite video documentary was about George Bush being responsible for 9/11, Christianity is a myth, and big money is out to control the world.
Oh yeah. It doesn't get any farther left than this type of thinking. The guy was so far to the left, their conspiracy theories drove him off a left wing cliff.

I love the Republican Party but I dont want to take a bullet for anyone.
No one? Not anyone? Wife, kids? No one? Really

Conjecture. I can't read his mind. But if he really cared anything about the state party he could have waited until the media spotlight on Tucson dimmed a bit and then departed quietly. Instead he makes a public statement that—intended or not—dovetails with the propaganda campaign of left-wing media and politicians.

That's a good point. I don't really care that much or I would research the guy; so I'll conclude with the rhetorical question. Who is this flipping guy? And good riddance.

“The good news is: 1. A RINO has taken himself out of the game. 2. His grandstanding will be for naught.”
If that’s the good news, then it’s all okie dokie with me!

Bump that!
“DixiechickUnfortunately your comment about conservative male politicians not appearing to be properly equipped for a knock down drag out is apt. But Im fine with Conservative women showing them the way to remedy that short fall.”
Thank you for being a real man, and realizing that many of those on the Hill aren’t.
They are self-serving..............nothing follows. ;o)

That is priceless! I love it!
I’m sorry to bother you, Mr/Mrs/Ms mod, but this is one for the FR Lexicon database.
I’m going to say “itty bits” from now on because that is exactly what they are.

I got familiar with British humor along time ago.,was stationed in the UK during early 70’s...just as Monty was getting started...
After I was discharged and came home, I told my brother that the emerging British comedy coming to the states was something to watch for and that there was some brilliant stuff to enjoy....

I love Brit humor!
I was in London a few years ago, and was very fortunate to see “Spamalot”, which is the musical version of “Holy Grail”. It was hilarious!
Seeing it in a theater...especially a 19th century theater...was the icing on the cake.
“Bring out your dead...bring out your dead...”
“I’m not dead, yet”
“T’is a flesh wound”
LOL! What great theater!
