Ug, I remember the VP70Z.

Had a trigger pull like a friggin staple gun.

It was a civilianized version of a 3 shot burst machine pistol, which I'm sure was as useful a feature as it was a beautiful firearm (gag).

Frowning takes 68 muscles.
Smiling takes 6.
Pulling this trigger takes 2.
I'm lazy.

Good analogy with the staple gun. A gun collector friend of mine is going to buy one some day as a novelty. I told him it looks like something out of the 1950s Jet Jackson science fiction tv series.
