I hope he doesn’t list the bottom 2,000. I don’t need the spotlight.

a Swiss banker who claims the information potentially reveals instances of money-laundering and large-scale illegal tax evasion.

If proven true - punish per existing law. If proven untrue, make the source and those who perpetuate the information financially responsible for any direct costs (e.g., legal fees) and all indirect costs such as loss of value (e.g., drop in stock price or Swiss bank valuations), and any currency impacts, plus any social costs (e.g., unemployment insurance or similar), plus increased borrowing costs, and likely other aspects, that result during or as a result of the allegations.

It's the seriousness of the charge that matters.

For the record I don't have a Swiss bank acount but hope to have one someday...

Looks like this guy learn a lesson from what happen to the UBS whistleblower.
...

In a claim disputed by Birkenfeld’s lawyers in a December 7 letter to U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder, Justice Department officials said the jail time was justified because he was not initially forthcoming about the tax fraud committed by his billionaire U.S. client Igor Olenicoff.

One of the secrets to a happy life is to spend less than you make, at any level.

What a concept, do you think the government can learn that?

Nah, me neither.

Would it matter? Some of these people aren’t exactly Upright citizens that play by the rules......Just the implication that they could have it and it might implicate a certain Tiger hunting judo choping ex Russian President would be enough to do the job....
