Comcast wins FCC approval to take over NBC

WASHINGTON -- The Federal Communications Commission is giving Comcast, the country's largest cable company, the green light to take over NBC Universal, home of the NBC television network.

The deal is still awaiting Justice Department approval, which is expected later Tuesday.

With the deal certain to transform the entertainment industry landscape, regulators are attaching conditions to prevent Comcast Corp. from trampling competitors once it takes control of NBC's vast media empire.

My own little conservative leaning sports tv series was just invited on to Versus. Versus is owned by Comcast. NBC will partner with Comcast. Comcast will morph in to Xfinity. Xfinity will be a platform for NBC’s Olympics. My sponsors will be very happy to hear the news this week.

Question: Assuming Mr. Clyburn’s race-baiting campaign would launch Obama into the WH, had Obama promised Mr. Clyburn something in return?

Answer: Yes; the appointment of his daughter, Mignon, to a coveted seat on the FCC (Federal Communications Commission).

Why the FCC? Well, as Sen. Jay Rockefeller (D-WV), current Chair of the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation said during hearings to consider recommending Ms. Clyburn’s appointment to the “consent” of the full Senate, “[The FCC] is one of the 2 or 3 most important agencies in all of government… The FCC has this enormous wide ranging authority, and the question is, will it exercise it, will it expand it, will it not exercise it…” (cite infra)”

Ms. Mignon Clyburn’s qualifications for sitting on the FCC seems to be that she made a flyer at some point. (Probably makes her more qualified for this position than the sissy-boy for POTUS...)

MSNBC is part of the propaganda wing of the DNC and they aren’t going anywhere or this deal would have never been approved. Comcast will just right off the loses and remain in the good graces of the regime.
