There was Sarah Palin again Monday, assuring Sean Hannity on Fox News that she was not going to be silenced, no matter what abuse might come her way. “Other people are facing much greater hardships and making greater sacrifices than I am in just engaging in debate,” said the woman who reportedly made $250,000 per episode of her recently concluded reality show.
She added, several times, “This isn’t about me.”
A lot of Republicans in Washington certainly wish that were the case. But as the new House majority begins its push this week to scale back the Obama agenda, it seems that the president now has, in Ms. Palin, something he badly needed after a punishing election season: the ideal political foil.

I’ve often wondered how much the readership/viewership of liberal web sites, publications, TV networks, etc. would decline if conservatives stopped ridiculing them.
“This website republishes more articles from Liberal than conservative sources. Why do you think that is?”
Because most of us don’t have the stomach to read the NYT/LAT/WaPo or watch the networks. Or the time. Those who do share bits and pieces that they think others would care about.
There are articles posted regularly from The Washington Times, American Thinker, American Spectator, and the other few conservative written media outlets. And, there are threads every day for the Rush/Levin shows. Many FReepers belong to the related sites, so less need to post the information.
I can’t wait for the first live election 2012 presidential debate between Palin and Obama... that’s going to be a sight to behold. Until then, Obama and his idiots in the MSM can continue to grasp at straws.

This sort of stuff ceased to be influential quite some time ago and entered the field of comedy. Somebody buy this clown a rubber nose and some face paint.
Once a larger threat to their agenda has been identified, that person will be ruthlessly attacked just as Mrs. Palin has been for over 2 years now.

I saw a news clip on FOX a bit ago showing W & Clinton pushing the Haiti thing. That reminded me that they were in charge of helping down there. I got me to wondering if Barbara’s “comment” about SP came before or after SP went down there and suggested that the US needed to get off its duff and get some help down there. Does anyone know if maybe that had ticked Babs off? Or was it just the Jeb thing?
He and the Dems had her as their foil for the first half of his term and...you know, that happened.
Liberals just can’t stand that their progressive agenda is being refused by the American people. I just read that after his Tucson speech, when he went backstage, he and Michelle high fived and laughed. Seems someone did take a picture of it. The White House Insider has been right on many many things he/she has reported. If it is true, hope it is posted on the front page of all newspapers.
They wish this benefitted Obama but the truth is people tend to notice when someone is leveling with them and when someone is jerking their chain.
