1957 and Telephone Road was the boonies. Couse at 3 you wouldn’t know that.

Hope you Mom and Pop made some nice $ selling the home when Chimney Rock boomed commercial.

Houston was fantastic in the 60’s in my early 20’s. No way I even like driving through now, too bad.

Hey I might have bought a soda and popcorn from you in 64!!!

“Hey I might have bought a soda and popcorn from you in 64!!!”

Quite possibly, I was one of the only dorky white kids, we were trying to make some gas money for surf trips to Surfside.

One of the brothers gave me some good advice while selling hot dogs, he saw me skulking along with no soul or swagger n my step. He said, “Let me show ya how it’s done, little man.”

He strapped that heated box on and started singing loudly, “Loaf a bread, pound a meat, and all da mustard you can eat!!! Hot Dogs!!”

Great life experiences for a punk kid like me.
