Seems to me that that should be the conservative position. Shut up about it and keep the government absolutely out of it, except, of course, when crimes are committed (like public indecency, sexual abuse, etc.).

You're directly contradicting yourself. And regarding public indecency and all that stuff, we're so far beyond anything being done against fags being publicly indecent or committing crimes that the horse is out of the barn, changed hands multiple times and died of old age.

You make no sense. You think a conservative means an anarchist? Those pushing the homo agenda have used government like a bludgeon. Conservatives need to roll back that gov bludgeon, which means undoing the homo agenda promoting laws, edicts, regulations and so on. That means getting government involved because - ahem - government is already involved, sheesh! You are saying that a conservative position means never getting government involved? That's not conservatism, that's anarchy or - hmm, Libertarianism.
