After they get rid of the 900 billion for Obama Care. That leaves 1.6 trillion over 10 years. They only cut 160 billion a year?
Did they even balance the budget, or are we still in deficit spending even with these cuts? Does anyone know?
The GOP will show themselves cowards yet again. It's apparent they have NO intention of taking on entitlements. They are cutting around the edges of "discretionary" spending.
Yes, that needs to be done too...first even. But without real substantial cuts to SS, Medicare and Medicaid we don't stand a chance of removing $1.5 Trillion/yr from the budget.
This is how far we have fallen as a nation.
