Hope the reunion works out for them all.
I can only imagine the horror of that poor family to have their infant daughter stolen from them and not to see her again for another 23 years.
Amazing. My BIL was in his forties when he learned that his father, who he had be told died when he was a toddler, was actually living in another state.
they were reunited and he now enjoys an entire family that was kept from him by a vindictive mother.
"White's family later sued the city and the hospital for negligence, and reportedly received a settlement of $750,000. A portion was placed in a trust for Carlina, and was preserved until her 21st birthday. The fate of that fund was unclear."
Why didn't they mention the arrest of the kidnapper?
There is more to this story than has been in the press, I bet.
Too many weirdnesses.
The daughter found who she was from a missing child website?
They can’t find the kidnapper?
Did the lady flee? When?
Has anyone announced a search for her or even her name?
What has the missing girl been doing since she was 16 without a birth certificate?
Could she even get a Social Security card?
I doubt the press will change this from a feel-good story and get to the real issues. My belief is that it was a scam to defraud the hospital and get the $. They just couldn’t end it because they would get caught.
