Though it is embarrassing to admit this in public, I can no longer hide the truth. I have a Sarah Palin problem.
I have written about her in 42 columns since Sen. John McCain picked her as his presidential running mate in 2008. I've mentioned her in dozens more blog posts, Web chats, and TV and radio appearances. I feel powerless to control my obsession, even though it cheapens and demeans me.
But today is the first day of the rest of my life. And so, I hereby pledge that, beginning on Feb 1, 2011, I will not mention Sarah Palin - in print, online or on television - for one month. Furthermore, I call on others in the news media to join me in this pledge of a Palin-free February. With enough support, I believe we may even be able to extend the moratorium beyond one month, but we are up against a powerful compulsion, and we must take this struggle day by day.

I give them a total of 3 days before they break down and launch into new attacks on Palin. Its like expecting Fecal Matters to refrain from writing about Beck.

Write about SP, then complain about she’s in the news. Headcase.

LOL! Its like trying to quit drugs for them. The fact is, they get high bashing Palin and will not stop even if the publicity gives her even more power and helps her chances at becoming prez. Hate drives these people, and Sarah is the focal point of that hate.
Its actually fun to watch these hateful idiots totally controlled by Palin, unable to break away from their habit. The world has not seen such doofuses in all of history.
“Yes” has 68% of the vote. What a joke. There’s no way these people can keep silent. As soon as she makes a statement on some issue, or takes her family fishing, they’ll be after her. She’s anathema to them.
Since “tea-bagging” is a homosexual act, and Milbank employs the term as a pejorative, Milbank must be a homophobe! How else can one insult another by suggesting that they engage in a homosexual act without being homophobic?
Done.
This is a hoot, considering they’re the ones that drag her into everything.
I doubt the MSM could go 24-hours without trying to disparage Sarah in some way.
On a positive note, she’s living rent-free in the Left’s head.
Someone in the media has finally realized that all of their screaming and gnashing of teeth over Sarah Palin has done nothing but make her the brightest star of American politics, and paved her road to the White House.
Ooops.
Too late, lefties. You can’t undo what you’ve already done. You’ll have to swing 180 degrees and start extolling Palin’s virtues from now on, if you want to neutralize her, and we all know you’re incapable of that. LOL
I give his pledge about 36 hours.

There have been plenty of months where Sarah probably did or said very little that was overly newsworthy, but the Left Wing Propaganda Pimps would either make things up, or make non-stories about her into front page news. They can't help themselves. They want to ignore her and make her go away, but they can't. I'm sure Sarah often wishes they would, but they are addicted to her.
It shows they “get it” though...
Every time they attack her, she gets stronger and more known.
They may not understand WHY their attacks have this effect:
they can’t attack from a foundation of truth,
while she counters from that very foundation.
Do you think we could declare a WaPo and NYTimes-free month at FR? Are we all addicted to republishing the Liberal MSM?
He won’t be able to do it, then he’ll blame Sarah.
