In a bizarre and deadly chain of events, a pedestrian was twice struck by hit-and-run drivers, the woman who came to his aid was also hit, and finally the driver trying to help her was beaten and robbed by a mob, police said Friday.
The crashes on a busy Los Angeles-area boulevard left a man dead, a woman injured, a suspect arrested, and detectives stunned.

In certain locales, stopping to help at an accident in which you were involved is near suicidal if you do not possess the correct coloration or surname.

This appears to be one such place and the two drivers who ran over and killed a jaywalking pedestrian likely knew it and that's why they got the hell out of Dodge. The events that followed only confirmed their prudence.
Definitely two Californias here. The variables here are — what area of Los Angeles was this? What are the demographics? Response, then — really? The police were surprised? I doubt it.
Oakland is a different species.
I taught in an inner city school — subbed, for a few days. Went to the Principal and said — “You will have to take this class tomorrow. I am not coming back.” He said, “That 6th grader you sent to my office this am? They let little girls come spend the weekend with him. What can I do in 5 hours a day?”
You know, it’s that multi-culti thing. “We cannot say it’s wrong. It is just different.”

What's sad is that these events don't even raise eyebrows anymore. Flash-mobs in Philly, beat-downs in Denver, gunplay in a Detroit mall on Black Friday, mall rampages in Madison, the list goes on and on. If these events even make the news, they're quickly forgotten when similar behavior by the same demographic happens somewhere else the following week.
We're scared witless over the possibility of a terrorist on an airplane and don't even bother to notice the thug terror that has taken over our once world-class cities, filling them with feral youth who will take your life over nothing at all while the taxpayers cough up billions each year for their welfare.
Didn't Sarah Palin make a comment about running people over and fleeing the scene? If there was another viewpoint represented in that discussion then this probably wouldn't have happened.
Everybody knows what the truth is. It’s just that you’re considered a racist if you speak that truth. I’m not a racist, just a realist. The black culture is doing its best to help destroy this country. Just remember this, among blacks Obama still has a 92% approval rating. Nuff said. THEY’RE the racists.
They realize that they are the conquering class. Quite typically in the early stages of the conquest the victors demonstrate their joy at becoming “top dogs.” The beating, killing and plundering of the vanquished becomes the source of amusement for the black.
Something I've never thought about before. We sure did have in good in America, didn't we.
