When the camera zoomed out just a bit to show more flag behind him, he looked like he was jaundiced and heavily made up in an attempt to cover it. I didn't watch the "campaign spew session" (aka: SoTU), just saw a few of the following rehash clips. His weight and pallor makes him look ill.
