If my diagnosis is correct, then yes, this was THE problem. Since making the change to the DB configuration just an hour ago we haven’t experienced that issue. Could just be “lucky” but I’m going to say with 90% confidence the issue has been solved.

There is still a problem somewhere. Every since FreeRepublic crashed back on Jan 5th, 6th, I have not been able to access my FreepMail, Pings nor my Preferences.

I would like to know how this can be fixed?
