Last night a lady went to a grocery store in Mountain Home, Arkansas, where she was privy to one of the more offensive things we’ve heard about in a long time. The people over at Harps Supermarket decided to put a “family shield” (you know, “to protect young Harps shoppers”) over the cover of Us Weekly. But Harps is not trying to protect kids from Snooki or Kim or any other standard tabloid trash. No, they’re trying to “protect” children from a photo of Elton John, his partner David Furnish and their adorable baby Zachary.
This makes us angry. Really, really angry. This “shield” comes from a place of ignorance, intolerance and hate. An image of two loving parents thrilled to finally have a child of their own? This is clearly not something that should be censored. Ever.

Really? I thought they held hands and kissed modestly. That’s the way the mainstream media portrays them? Really? Golly? Ya’ mean they have a rather disgusting and filthy way of having sex? You mean they engage in perverted and degenerate ways of showing physical “affection” towards each other????????????

You can go into stores all the time and find books by conservative authors turned around on the shelf. LOL
hubbymayhem and our teenage son both turn magazines around if oblabo or his wookie are on the cover. It has cause chaos in the checkout line.
Why does it upset them? They arenot and will nevr be a “normal” family no matter how much the left wants to make that so. There will never be a way to control thought and the site of that makes many of us very angry for the baby who is being used to make two older gay men feel good.
They shoud not even be selling this trash in the first place.
I once happened to walk by when two supermarket clerks were working in the magazine section. The younger one made a critical comment about the type of trashy magazines sold there and what kind of people would buy them. The more senior one corrected him: "Our's is not to reason why. Our's is to sell."
Our local Palm Springs newspaper crawls with homosexual posters/commentors.....I tend to shut them up by pointing out that “It’s a simple plumbing issue, stupid”.
Saw the magazine cover today when checking out in grocery store. Had to do a double take as someone wrote “Help me” on the baby’s forehead.
These wretched,selfish men getting away with trying to assert that their life style is normal. Not for them to shut up and do what they do in private and thank society for ignoring them.

I am offended by a magazine cover celebrating two perverts spitting in the face of God.
Liberals are offended by having such a magazine cover “censored.”
That issue of US Magazine is openly displayed in thousands of retail outlets all across the country.
That issue of US Magazine has a “protective shield” placed over it in one grocery store chain in Arkansas.
Tell me, WHO is really winning the culture war?
