Forget federal government, we'll build fence ourselves
World Net Daily ^ | January 30, 2011 | Drew Zahn

A Mississippi legislator has caught on to an idea that if the federal government won't complete a border fence separating the United States from Mexico, the states will – and he's planning on taxing illegal immigrants to fund it.

Republican State Sen. Joey Fillingane has filed S.B. 2255, which would charge a fee on all money transfers wired out of the United States, then count the amount as a credit on Mississippi citizens' tax returns. The result: Only illegal immigrants sending money abroad would ultimately pay the fees, since they cannot file tax returns to receive a refund.

The net revenue from the non-refunded fees, S.B. 2255 specifies, would then be sent to states like Arizona and Texas for construction of a border fence.

Here is another good idea! Every illegal caught builds the wall between Mexico and the southern States. Joe the sheriff will see to it the wall gets built with a little money and lots of free labor!

Do you know what I realized tonight?

Our government has been lying to us all along.

The fact is that the federal government has the technology to monitor the border by satellite and figure out the main routes of the smugglers and illegals and it would be quite easy for the border patrol to be notified by our intelligence agencies on where to intercede.

As conservatives, we better start asking why the federal government spends $600 billion a year on defense and they refuse to use that money to secure our own borders.

When the Feds show up and start confiscating fence building equipment and arresting people they’ll no longer be able to hide the truth that they simply want a porous border. The mask will be off.

what would the Chinese do?

They would scrap the fence and build a massive canal from Gulf to the Pacific. This would also cut shipping time and costs. And bring in revenue.

“Can we call them libtards instead of liberals?”

Sounds like targeting them a little.

Within a certain scope.

So to speak.

What makes State Sen. Fillingane believe that illegal immigrants can’t file tax returns? Has the IRS ever rejected a return from someone who wanted to pay US taxes?
