Yep. Being so down on Brown is as misguided as being so up on Christie. RINO’s are acceptable in blue states until the GOP can better persuade on conservatism. Just don’t think of promoting them to national candidate status.

You’ve obviously given this some thought: Can you, or any others here, give any explanation at all why the entire Northeast is so fundamentally liberal compared to the rest of the country - especially given that it is the birthpalce of the nation, the Founding Fathers, the Declaration and the Constitution, et al?

Thanks for any light you can shed on this - I’m just bewildered by it.

But if conservatives who helped boost Mr. Brown’s profile now feel betrayed by his votes in the Senate, more liberal Massachusetts voters may not agree. A Jan. 14 poll by Suffolk University found Mr. Brown leading against Mrs. Coakley 50 percent to 46 percent in a statewide survey.

So even though voted with the Left on several key issues it seems NOT to have changed his standing with them much at all. So he's rolling over for nothing.

Scott Brown: Living proof that liberals drive pickup trucks.

Yep, and he’ll have a very strong ‘rat opponent in his re-election and most likely be badly beaten.

I made the same mistake and have since written him asking for my small contribution to be returned. I sent him a detailed letter asking for an explanation of what it means to be openly gay in the military. He did not respond, of course. But, I was disgusted at his support of the DADT repeal since he made such a big deal of his military record.

IMO - people like him have no place in our congress; they are adding to the problem.

Last January many FReepers were supporting Brown. Some even called Brown a conservative. Stealing away the Kennedy Senate seat was a moral victory of sorts and made us all feel good for a while. In the end, however, it was a wasted effort. Brown remains a NE liberal and not interested in advancing conservatism.

All I can say is, live and learn, and listen.

had to live up there for a few years and I found that areas have a lot of colleges where students end up staying after they graduate, pus the media up in MA is well past bias, it’s insane with their coverage.

I went up there last year and found that their local news is nothing but propaganda for the Dems.

Then you have the unions which are strong up in the north east compared to down here.

Add all those in together over a couple of generations then bingo .
The left then used MA to pass their agenda and then spread out, remember how Duval Patrick used the slogan change etc ?
It was then Obama who looked at those slogans and used them because they worked.

Hope this explains a little as I have to go now but if you have any questions I can get back to you later

BTW, The church which has Quincy Adams laid to rest at has now a rainbow homosexual flag flying form it as the homosexuals have taken that place over plus they have a sign saying marriage equality on it.

BTW The church is right across from city hall and nothing has been said about it.

The EX Pres is truing in his grave I bet over this .
