I think you overestimate the significance of Obamacare to the Tea Party movement. While it has been about that, it has not been about only that for a long time. It's about spending, deficits, and loads of other conservative issues. I think if the scenario proposed in this article played out (and I absolutely doubt that it would), we would all be better for it because Obamacare would be dead. But, I don't think it would kill the Tea Party by any means. I think it would light a fire under the movement because all their efforts paid off and they won! It would be on to the next big challenge--saving the country and reducing the size and power of the federal government by electing a truly conservative President and Senate!

Yes, obama is the gift that just keeps on giving in that regard. Every day he gives me about three more things to rail against.

Bronk, Sen. McConnell isn’t that smart.

It is possible that this article somehow uncovered a conspiracy...possible but not that likely. However there may be some elements of truth. I think Obama’s first two years were of a similar calculation: drive through a left wing agenda and then lose big in the mid terms (you could tell Obama didn’t try very hard on the trail for dems in 2010.), then “move to the center”.
So this article isn’t totally bereft of logic but the thing is this: How does it really benefit Obama to have his big issue go down in flames?

Wouldnt it be more embarrassing to Obama to have the legislation repealled with his signature on it?
I think legislation automatically goes into law after a certain amount of time. as far as i understand he would not have to sign anything.

Without Obamacare, the Tea Parties will lack a central issue to demonize Obama and Democrats in 2012. ————————
Wrong.
We never demonized Obama. But his policies we certainly dissent!
Try again to demoralize the Tea party, it won’t work.
What did we rally for? What does TEA stand for? T axed E nough A lready. It’s about the wild spending spree’s indebting generations of our offspring to pay for the wild spending, out of control government...and now it’s about a lot more than that...

"Without Obamacare, the Tea Parties will lack a central issue to demonize Obama and Democrats in 2012"Is this guy clueless? It's not JUST OBAMACARE, it's Federal Government interference with lives, over-reaching Constitutional restrictions on Congress power, and so many other issues that "are" the Tea Party Movement.
I don't believe his premise that OBAMACARE will be repealed, and avoid a Supreme Court fight. Two communist appointments to the USSC by The Messiah, and a wimp and sleeping-Beauty to boot, may be the final nail in the coffin for the Constitution when and if the USSC votes on its validity.

Maybe the next step would have to be investigations
as to why the democrats wasted two years and passed
and unconstitutional bill.

LOL, this has to be about the dumbest commentary on this issue I’ve seen yet.
Obama is not - and I emphatically emphasise for emphasis NOT - going to sign off on the repeal of the one piece of his signature agenda he actually managed to force through Congress and down the throats of the American people.

Well, I’ve decided I’ve spent too much time building my small business to let it come to this.
I have only begun to fight.
We are the makers. They are the takers.
The leverage we have is that if they ask too much, we produce less. (15% GDP tax revenue is just a start)
More people need to understand that TPTB are putting up our sweat/labor as collateral on the national debt.

TEA doesn’t stand for “No Obamacare”. It stands for Taxed Enough Already and stands for opposing an overbearing, out of control federal government. The very fact that the Rats even THINK that they can FORCE people to purchase health insurance and the fact that they even THINK that they can give the president the ability to “turn off” the Internet and a hundred other reasons is why the TEA Party is here to stay.
