I hope Palin doesn't make the same mistake Reagan did in getting a RINO for VP. I know he thought he needed Bush Senior but he could have won without him. As a result of Bush's myopic and failed POTUS, we got eight years of Clinton duplicity leading to disasters like 9/11, etc.

If Palin's half the gal I think she is, I think she'll go out the way Reagan did and a good chance her VP would be the next POTUS. I hope she puts in a strong conservative who at the same time can communicate with everybody.

Well, Bush was moire than ten years younger than Reagan. Rudy is twenty years older, more the elder statesman type. And in case you haven’t noticed, Cheney is pretty liberal on social issues.

Getting way ahead of ourselves, a Conservative nominee could help solidify the party with a VP choice of a Paul Ryan type....a fiscal Conservative and having some support from the party elites.
