BTW, NY-29 missed over 400 roll call voted because Gov. Paterson refused to call for a prompt special election. It'll be interesting to see if Cuomo tries to pull something similar.

I don’t see how what I posted was wrong. Massa was from the outskirts of Rochester to the Pennsylvania line. Lee was from the Buffalo suburbs and east. Slaughter touches both cities. We also have Higgins, who hugs lake Erie from Buffalo south. I was giving general descriptions to people who would not be familiar with towns like ‘Amherst’, ‘Clarence’ or ‘Corning’.
He represents the political views of the conservatives in his district. He doesn't represent their moral views, the clergy does that.
Well, at least he did the right thing by resigning, unlike the Democrats who only make excuses for themselves.
He also needs to apologize to his Republican leadership for embarrassing them! I can’t believe the leadership knew about this! Some Republicans are part of the REALLY STUPID party, the Dumber of ‘Dumb and Dumber’.
