Clearly, this country won’t recapture the greatness we had during Reagan’s time, but it sure is nice to hear his speeches. It reminds me of how blessed I feel to have experienced his Presidency.

I don’t have a ping list, but I wanted to bring this to the attention of a few FRiends who might be especially interested.
Ynotjjr found a long lost tape of President Reagan on his Whistle Stop Tour in 1984. He broke it down into three parts and posted it for all to see.
raybbr took the time to create a transcript and post it for us (post 15).
This is a rare treat. Thank you ynotjjr and raybbr.

Now that I’ve seen the videos, I can thank you again. Reagan never fails to amaze with his timeliness - even though we know that quality is due to the timelessness of his principles.
If you haven’t thought of it, I seriously recommend that you contact the Reagan Library with this. It may have been the only time that this speech was videographed. It also has historical value as documentation of Reagan’s whistle stop campaign. Please do it!
