It's hard to believe how desolate this area the Israelis have "usurped" really is until you see it.

This is true. By listening to news accounts, you would think that the Israelis kicked Palestinians out of their houses and took over their towns. But when you actually go there and see for yourself, you witness TRUTH smacking you in the face.

I can vividly recall standing on a hill in Jerusalem and looking out at the vast desert. The sand and haze was blinding. All I could see is white stretching out to the horizon. But when I studied the landscape, I discovered a tiny spot of green on that vast stretch of nothingness. It was then that I discovered a West Bank settlement that I heard about on the news. At that moment, it became unmistakably clear where God's blessings lay.
