Gov Walker does nor fit the rat template. He speaks plainly and doesn't weasel word his answers. The left finds it difficult to make him look like a rabid, anti-union loon, so they will mostly avoid him. Wallace met his match this morning...Walker ate his lunch. Will Walker back down from this fight. No way, Jose.

Colburn: “We should cut $100 Billion”

No Senator, you should cut $500 Billion.

Yep, small tax credits for going green, eliminate home mortgage deduction, Bush tax cuts only extended long enough so (they think) it will do no immediate damage, and 401k investments are looking ripe...

No need to showcase/bring attention to all the plans of the Pharaohs Regime; Madison,Ohio,Egypt much of the Mideast when it can so easily be ignored by the willing DBM.

Interesting that only one network thinks Gov. Walker is worth listening to...

After watching the segment, I can see why. He was concise, confident, and able to make a good case for why his position makes sense. The MSM can't have that out there.

I think he’s primarily inept in the areas that matter to us. On the whole community organizer, undermine-the-country bit, I try not to underestimate him in the least.

In a 235-189 vote, House approves dramatic cuts in federal spending

Actual cuts in the bill were $60 Billion.

What did the Pubbies campaign on? Oh yeah, $100 Billion in cuts.

Headline should be something like this:

==

Congress needs another major Tea Party flushing in 2012. They didn't quite get the message of 2010. They are dangling a few morsels while getting back to business as usual (aka, spending out the kazoo).

Yes, why not Wallace go to Illinois to get a Democrat from Wisconsin to badger about being derelict?

The real test is whether or not we can lead him into the mid 30’s a year and half from now?

ABC, Round Table - Donna Brazile defending obama (he entered the debate on day 4 of the protests, not day one); local workers have taken the brunt of cuts (when ????) Compares these protesters to the the Tea Party movement. (what ?????)

Steve Southerland, R, FL - States don’t have any choice - they are bound by the limit of balanceing budget, govt can do with less.

Jonathan Karl, political strategist, - obama’s criticism was more clear with Gov Walker than with Mubarak, Wisconsin is critical for 2012 election.

George Will - Gov Walker was elected to do exactly what he’s doing. Brings up FDR’s comments on public sector unions. All Walker is doing is limiting collective bargaining to wages....what’s wrong with that? Even if the Gov. gets every concession, their benefits are far better than the average private sector job.

McAsskill lying again, claiming that Boehner is the one who wants to shut down the government.

Actually Obama is the one who will do it. (Republicans fault)

Dems (and Gingrich) are the only ones bringing up the ‘s’-word — shutdown.

McCaskill uses it, trying to imply that ‘shutdown’ is what the Republicans, and especially Boehner, are wanting.

Not from this regime!

It's up to us to keep carrying the flag and reminding everyone else we are supposed to be living under a constitution that has stood the test of time.

She also said “writing checks to the oil companies.”

That is such a bedrock leftist belief: all tax deductions equal the government giving money to the tax filer claiming the deduction.

The reality of oil companies is that they pay far more in taxes than they claim as profit. I think the govt gets about 3 dollars for every dollar of net profit of the companies.

On CBS this morning the story of Pritchard Alabama that ran out of pension funds and stopped all town pension checks over a year ago.

Of course it was all about the town pensioners getting screwed but nothing about other town non-pensioners getting screwed on their property taxes if the pension fund was bailed out.

Wallace to McCaskill: You have become sort of a deficit-hawk.

[Hey, Chris, can you say re-election? Her term is up in 2012. Of course, she is moving to the right.]
