Interesting. I also just read that the Reagans were invited to Sarah and Andrew’s wedding, although it was not a state occasion. The article also stated that Will and Kate wish to make it more of a ‘people’s celebration’, by inviting ordinary citizens and charity workers.
I saw somewhere that it was at the request of the groom that the Obamas were not invited. Yes the invitations are from the Queen but most parents do consider the wishes of their children when planning the guest list. Political concerns are not always the top reasons for selecting guests for such an event.
The obamas gave the russians and the chinese their nuclear secrets, have continued to insult them, dislike them and then they are surprised when they’re not invited? They’re nuts.
Just as well they didn’t go. I don’t want to be embarrassed by the lame ass wedding gift he would have given them.
