His mercenaries and goons are just enraging people and spurring them on. It reminds me of Iran in my youth, when the Shah’s army tried to put down protests all over the country.

Let's hope it turns out better than Iran did. That the mosques are being used as staging areas for the insurgents is not a good sign, and is a reason why the US should stay completely out of this.

Sorry, the US should be supporting the old man who has proven too tired to stir the region into war for years now. Support the status quo is the call. The administration has no idea (or sadly..maybe they do) what they are doing

From Twitter, news is that Gadaffy is speaking to crowd in Tripoli, saying if people don’t love him, he doesn’t deserve to live...but alternate translation is, if people don’t love him, THEY don’t deserve to live.
Not at all clear which is correct translation.
From all indications, though, this goose is cooked. 20-30k very engraged people in the streets of Tripoli.
