Low sunspots and ice ages correlate. Sunspot
activity has been very low the last 2 or 3 years.
See Maunder minimum, Dalton minimum
and little ice age in a google search.

I believe several Earths could fit right in the pocket of that “wave”, too. The enormity of this monster flare is difficult to comprehend.

Yes, I'm excited about the returning warmth! Been a cool spell in Minnesota but
finally solar cycle 25 is heating up.
What I tell my students is that Al Gore thinks it's more about the S-U-V than the S-U-N but he might be wrong - wait and see.

Still only an M-class and not likely to hit us with a CME.

Greenpeace is rushing to the North Pole to put the tinfoil hats on the Polar Bears before their iceburgs melt from the cosmic rays!
Meanwhile the Polar Bears are swimming to get to the floating docks at the base of each oil well for shelter!
Ah, wait a minute——

Interesting that they’ve been exaggerating solar flares recently. We’re not likely to see any unusual effect on earth from that.

Its just like Nuclear power, we harness the power of the
atom(1945) to generate STEAM (1700) to make electricity(1800).

Yep I am starting to lump these solar flare fear mongers with the Global warming nitwits.
