From talking to Rodney, it was a Citizens Arrest. Not totally sure, but I think that means he can be released by the police with a summons to appear. The rest will be sorted out in the courts.
It’ll go nowhere. The thug most likely will fail to appear. I doubt if the judge will even issue a bench warrant.
Nobody should rely on the cops or the courts for justice. The cops and the court clerks are all union people, and the judges don’t care about a minor scuffle in which nobody was injured.
It’s over. The opportunity to make a point has passed, unused.
Look for the D.A. either to not charge or to drop charges.
