The protesters agreed to leave peacefully so the capitol building could be cleaned. Later, they organized some seminars on "passive resistance". Now they're pouring in the building and refusing to leave unless they're handcuffed.

Watch live on Fox.

The longer they’re in there, the more they destroy the place, and the more reporters they hit the more the public with turn on them. Let them do what they want and send the bill to the unions. When the unions refuse to pay, the reporters who were hit and the taxpayers will have a field day. It’s long past time to take down the unions.

Tell them they are locking them in the building while they are being strip searched and processed....That should help
clear the place pretty quickly.

Bring in the Militia and find some sympathetic cops. The State Patrol and counties surrounding Dane should be able to supply the needed manpower.

I was going to suggest they send this in through the vents, but given that hippies have been filling the capitol for days, it might only improve things.

I’ve always said you got to break a few eggs to make an omelet. I think it’s way past omelet time in Wisconson.

This is a strategy They want footage that can be played on the nightly news to portray them as poor victims. They really make me sick.

This is truly tyranny by the minority!

Lock the doors and get the DMV people to process their IDs on the way out. Tell them behind the DMV people are the TSA people.

:-)

Nah.

That would be far too dignified for this crowd.
Someone should dump out a few shoe boxes full of fleas in the closets - away from the cameras. They would eventually leave until the building could be fumigated.

Blame in on the fleabaggers.

If he calls in the Guard, does it become a Federal issue by jurisdiction? Does that allow the Obama administration to become involved? Just curious how that works.

The local police in Madison refuses...

Sadly, that doesn't surprise me.

Importantly, ‘ex post facto’ laws, or laws passed after an event has happened, resulting in retroactive punishment, are not legal. However, laws can be passed while an event is ongoing, which make what is happening unlawful, so that any *further* actions of that type are criminal.

Therefore, the legislature of Wisconsin should quickly pass a law, which, not being a budgetary matter only needs a simple majority in both houses, that when signed by the governor, could substantially increase criminal penalties for individuals seeking to interfere with legislative business of their legislature.

Optimally, such a law might not have significant confinement penalties, jail time, but it could have *substantial* mandatory fines, that could not be set aside by a judge, as well as being classed in a manner that would result in the revocation of the State teaching license, for those who had one.

I’m thinking, say, $3,000 fine for each offense. And since they are no longer licensed to teach in the State, their teaching contract is voided.

It really would be like Woodstock for them, getting groped by a total stranger!

buddy has said that the capitol Police are now refusing to do anything. I am 270 miles away. buddy is right there, he is sending another friend to the airport area to check on the national Guard, see if anything is going on. he stated more students are coming from UW Madison, the university students will try to take over the capitol building.

No. The State Guard reports to the governor. It can be federalized, but its first line of command is the state.
