Selective Law Enforcement is not a good thing... me thinks.
Thats the first problem. When the Governor says to clean it out, then they should have 15 minutes to clear the building, no questions asked. The cops there are as bad as the teachers. Gov. needs to shit-can anyone who does not follow his order, then bring in the Guard to clear the place out.
That would be Charles Tubbs, father of one son who was accused of conspiracy to commit armed robbery and father to another son who faced charges in a string of arsons in 2009.
Cops Union seems to think it is.
The America we once knew is toast.
This is playing out very well. The important thing is to pass the bill. Actually, this noncompliance from those permanently immature hippies will only bolster Walker’s support. As a UW grad of the 80’s, believe me that Madison is a la-la land of immature idealists, and understand that that crap doesn’t play outside Madison. If you’re miffed, think of all the WI taxpayers who go to work every day hearing about those filthy pukes refusing to leave their Capitol. Yes, Walker gained.
when the SHTF....we can not trust the police...probably not the military either......people better wake up to that fact....
The "give 'em an inch" proverb is aptly relevant here. Anyway, they WANT to get arrested, so that the governor will look like a meanie.
Actually, I think it’s the right move. They should not be allowed to look like martyrs. Letting them stay is still a show of power inasmuch as they’re being “allowed” to stay. That’s no less authoritative than forcing them out. As long as they’re not too fired up, they won’t trash the place. Forcing them out would only draw more busloads of them. They’re looking for an excuse to become violent. Letting them fizzle out on their own steam is much smarter. Other than being a pain in the ass, what harm are they doing? If they have nobody to fight with on site, they’re more likely to go home.
