A Dane County circuit court judge ordered Wisconsin authorities on Tuesday to open the Capitol Building in Madison to public access during business hours.

It was not immediately clear whether the temporary restraining order granted by Judge Daniel Moeser would result in a change in the way people have been granted access to the building over the past two days.

Protesters have held demonstrations for two weeks at the Capitol building against Republican Governor Scott Walker's proposal to curb the powers of public sector unions and access was tightened on Monday and Tuesday

“It is the people’s capitol and they should have access to it.”

True. So make it like the U.S. Capitol... a couple of dozen people in an escorted group at one time.

I know they will be banned. Wish someone would organize a march, film it and show the different standards that apply to WI citizens.

“After business hours, pipe in “it’s a small world “ song loud on a continuous loop.”

... Or “God Bless America.” That’d drive the RATS back under their rocks.

Maybe the folks who really should be protesting are the unemployed/under employed Wisconsin property owners who county tax bills are going to support these public employees.

That is a great idea. That and start arresting people who don’t leave the Capitol.

So, is the 24 hours up yet? If so, is the Governor starting to proceed with the lay-offs?

But it was never closed to the public during business hours. They have implemented a way to ensure that the public can enter, without letting in more than is safe, or people who might endanger others.

I’d love to see a judge rule that the White House had to be opened to the Public since we own it.

Fine. Open during business hours.

The judge made no restrictions in regards to after-hours sleep-ins.

That would not be necessary....just don't clean the building.

Do not clean anything, especially the bathrooms. Don't replenish the paper towels and toilet paper. Don't sweep the floors or carry off any trash...especially the trash and litter that leftists ALWAYS leave behind. Don't pick up the chicken bones and pizza crust and coke cans that these people throw on the floor.....

Lets see just how dedicated these people are....we would see that these people's personal habits are as dirty, nasty and perverted as their political habits....

ROFL

I just checked the Wisconsin Constitution. As far as I can tell, there is no quorum rule. They need a majority of the Assembly to impeach him and 2/3 of the Senate PRESENT to convict.

Where does the Legislature meet to do the people's business? What kind of protection is provided for law makers?

I wish the WI Tea Parties would go to the capitol incognito and get in the building one by one and displace all the goons. fill up the building and not leave room for protesters and keep the place clean.

I’m a great believer in guerrilla war. Stealth is hard to counter. Advertising what you are going to do is not wise.

The attorney for the Dems is Peg Lautenshlager, former AG - Peg had a bad habit of getting caught drunk driving in her state owned vehicle.
