The only way the U.S. could avoid Chapter 11 right now would be to sell Texas, Alaska and California at auction.

Then again, Texas wouldn't let the U.S. federal government sell it. Matter of fact, there is a good chance that if Texas gets pissed off, it might take over the federal government, and Mexico, and...
